The International Working Group on Financialization (IWGF) is an interdisciplinary network of researchers and practitioners interested in financialization and all the issues around relations between the capital market, firms and households. Its interdisciplinary character is reflected in its membership, which include heterodox economists, post Keynesians, regulationists and international political economy researchers as well as, cultural economy, geography, sociology and management researchers.
Aims
The working group will bring together academic researchers from across Europe,
the Americas and elsewhere to debate and share results; it will also include
practitioners with intellectual interests from financial services and consultancy
firms. The working group has no political position or intellectual agenda
of its own because it aims to create a space within which researchers with
different perspectives can interact. We aim to stimulate this debate using
our web site, an annual international workshop and by papers published in
our associated academic journal 'Competition and Change'
